We're looking for an experienced Finance Controller to join Coppice, a growing manufacturing business where finance plays a critical role in driving operational and commercial success.
This is more than a traditional reporting role. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll provide financial insight, strengthen controls, improve profitability, and help guide strategic decision-making across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading monthly management accounts and board reporting
- Driving budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Managing cashflow, working capital and financial performance
- Strengthening financial controls, governance and compliance
- Supporting strategic business decisions through insightful analysis
- Leading external audit and statutory reporting activities
- Developing and mentoring members of the finance team
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
- Acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation
What We're Looking For
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a Finance Controller, Financial Manager or similar senior finance role
- Manufacturing sector experience
- Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting expertise
- Excellent analytical and commercial awareness
- Confident communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate others
- Advanced Excel and systems capability
