Alongside delivering industry placements, workforce development programmes, and practical learning experiences, we are building Pathnexis — an education-to-employment infrastructure platform that helps institutions measure readiness, manage placements and opportunities, support workplace experiences, and track progression into meaningful outcomes.

The Role

We are seeking a Founding Product & Technology Lead to help shape and build the next phase of Pathnexis.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine product thinking with technical delivery. You will work closely with the founder, designers, researchers, colleges, employers, and learners to translate ideas into scalable products and meaningful user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy, roadmap development, and feature prioritisation.
• Translate user and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements.
• Drive product discovery, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Design, build, and oversee platform functionality and technical architecture.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders across the product lifecycle.
• Support the development of AI-enabled and data-driven platform capabilities.
• Ensure platform quality, reliability, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• Experience building and launching digital products.
• Strong product management and product development skills.
• Experience with modern web application development and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile and iterative product delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a startup or early-stage environment.

Desirable

• Experience within EdTech, HR Tech, Employability, Workforce Development, or SaaS.
• Experience building AI-enabled products or platforms.
• Experience working with education providers, employers, or workforce programmes.
