Functional Tester

We are hiring a functional tester – to join a high-profile investment banking program.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand portfolio management for investment banking, trading, compliance, and analytics in FI Index.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to write scenarios, test cases, and perform functional testing.
• Translate functional business requirements into technical specifications (finance, accounting, derivatives, or portfolio management).
• Participate in Agile projects and manage high-profile programs.
• Work as part of a large IT team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Handle programs with multiple integrations (internal/external) and centralized data lakes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Investment Banking / Asset Management Knowledge: Finance, investments, portfolio management, portfolio construction, front office compliance, risk management, and capital markets exposure. The last project should be in investment banking.
• QA & Testing: manual testing, SQL, UI automation (UFT/Python), database automation, and performance testing (JMeter).
• Technical Tools: Excel macros, basic Java knowledge.
• Full QA Lifecycle: Writing test plans & cases, test execution, defect triage, reporting, and metrics.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work in high-stress environments with front-line portfolio managers.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Teamwork and collaboration in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Clear and concise communication with clients and internal teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• ✅ Manual Testing | SQL | UI Automation (UFT / Python) | JMeter
• ✅ Investment Banking / Asset Management / Capital Markets knowledge
• ✅ Full QA lifecycle experience, strong problem-solving & communication
