Governance Analyst in Events and Services
Location: Leeds or London
The Role
We are looking for a Governance Analyst to join the Property Operations Workplace Contract and Performance Management team, working closely with the Property Health & Safety team. This role offers the opportunity to support the effective management of facilities management contracts, strengthen contract governance and contribute to robust health and safety reporting. You will coordinate contract governance activity, track health and safety accidents, incidents and compliance actions, monitor supplier performance, analyse trends, and support the identification and reporting of commercial risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate contract governance activities to help ensure contracts are audit ready.
- Develop a detailed understanding of supplier contracts and provide information to support effective challenge and review at contractual meetings.
- Document supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
- Draft contract change notes and coordinate activity with procurement.
- Track supplier governance activities and agreed initiatives.
- Support contract administration and governance activities, including maintaining SharePoint records and related documentation.
- Regularly review and update facilities management service information on the employee intranet.
- Track health and safety accidents, incidents and compliance actions.
- Monitor ISO document compliance control activity.
- Manage health and safety actions in Archer.
Reporting Line and Team Structure
In this role, you will report to the Integration Manager and work closely with the Commercial Analyst and Planon Systems Administrator.
You will build effective working relationships with supplier management teams and collaborate with property, procurement, supplier commercial and supplier account management colleagues.
You will be supported by the Manager and Senior Manager, who will provide guidance as you develop in the role.
Role requirements
Minimum Criteria
- Previous experience of contract administration, with sufficient depth to work confidently in a contract, governance, facilities management or operational support environment.
- Demonstrable understanding of contract governance activities, including coordinating contract meetings and supporting the drafting of contract change notices.
- Experience of recording, tracking or reporting health and safety compliance actions, incidents or related documentation.
Essential Criteria
- Proven knowledge of soft facilities management contracts, including catering or comparable workplace services.
- Ability to review soft FM contracts and monitor KPI and SLA delivery against contractual requirements.
- Demonstrable ability to track contract change requests, coordinate change control notices with procurement and suppliers, and prepare clear documentation, reports and briefing papers for management.
- Ability to track health and safety incidents, actions and compliance activities accurately and consistently.
Desirable Criteria
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of contract administration across public and/or private sector environments, particularly output specification contracts.
- Understanding of health and safety ISO document compliance control.

Salary and Benefits Information
We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.
Leeds: £35,360 - £39,780
London: £39,280 - £44,190
