Growth Lead

Seneca is the most used homework & revision app in the UK. We’ve helped over 15 million students learn faster for free, and get used by teachers in nearly every state secondary school in the UK. We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Growth Lead to help us go global.

The role will start with a clear focus on growing Seneca within international schools. We already have over 6,000 teachers in 148 countries outside the UK using Seneca, with almost no marketing behind it, and nobody owning a specific growth effort. Success in year one means many more teachers are signing up to the platform & creating assignments for their students.

We want someone to bring focus & expertise to this initiative. You should be willing to get your hands dirty by building experiments, growing channels and figuring out how to scale adoption.

What you’ll do

• Own growth in Seneca’s international markets end-to-end
• Design, run, and then scale growth experiments across the funnel
• Build campaigns across content, webinars, referrals, paid acquisition, landing pages, and follow-up journeys
• Work closely with product & business leadership to execute your plan with budget & engineering time available
• Talk directly to users and learn what drives awareness, activation, and adoption
• Provide clear growth reporting and own tracking, attribution, and performance measurement

What we’re looking for

• Experience in growth, performance marketing, or demand generation
• Strong commercial judgment and a good instinct for what drives acquisition
• Confidence running cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong reasoning & analytical skills
• Comfort with the modern suite of attribution tools & growth reporting, UTMs, pixels, campaign reporting
• Good understanding of SEO / AIO and how search, content, and paid channels work together
• Someone who is ambitious, proactive, hands-on, and comfortable operating with ambiguity
• Mid-to-senior level, with room to grow into a broader role over time
