Job Overview

As our Head of Learning, you’ll bring a genuine passion for all things digital and create exceptional, human-centred learning experiences that inspire our people to grow and thrive that align to our business need. We’re on a major transformation journey, so we’re looking for a bold, curious and influential leader who can turn ambition into action, drive meaningful change at pace and bring the best outside thinking and innovation into AXA. You’ll harness data, AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how learning is designed and delivered—making it a powerful catalyst for business performance, organisational agility and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

- Develop and execute a forward-looking Learning strategy aligned with business transformation needs.
- Lead the design and implementation of AI-powered, personalised learning experiences.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development across the organisation.
- Establish analytics frameworks to measure learning impact, ROI, and behavioural change.
- Build strategic partnerships with senior leadership and external stakeholders to position learning as a key business lever.
- Drive innovation in learning delivery through agile methodologies and emerging technologies.
- Ensure compliance with governance, data privacy, and ethical AI standards related to learning solutions.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Learning team.

Your Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in defining and delivering learning strategies and translating strategy into actionable plans to drive transformation in line with people and business priorities.
- Proven experience leading and engaging learning teams within complex, global corporate environments and leading through transformation
- Strong expertise in developing predictive insights and data-driven learning strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Extensive knowledge of emerging learning technologies, including AI, micro-learning, and immersive tools.
- Demonstrated success in leading innovative, agile learning initiatives.
- Experience in implementing governance frameworks for learning technology and data privacy.
- A track record of delivering measurable business impact through learning and development initiatives.
