Head of Legal / Senior Legal Counsel | 10+ PQE | Global Consultancy | London

We're partnering exclusively with a globally recognised professional services business, one of the most respected names in its field, to hire a senior lawyer who wants real influence, not just a seat at the table.

This is a leadership-level role. You'll sit alongside the executive team, shape how the business contracts, trades and grows, and take ownership of the work that matters most. If you've been waiting for an in-house role where the stakeholders are C-suite and the remit is broad, this is it.

The Opportunity

You'll join a highly regarded legal function as a trusted adviser to senior leadership across a complex, fast-moving global business. This is a blend of corporate, commercial and technology work, from strategic transactions and major client contracts to technology, data and digital delivery agreements.

You'll partner with leaders across commercial, procurement, operations and delivery, and your advice will directly influence the direction of the business. There's scope to step up and lead: setting legal strategy, developing the team and driving how legal is delivered.

What You'll Do

• Advise on high-value, complex commercial and corporate matters at board and executive level
• Lead on strategic contracts, tenders, partnerships and business-critical initiatives
• Advise on commercial technology, data and digital agreements
• Shape procurement strategy, supplier arrangements and outsourcing structures
• Provide pragmatic, risk-focused advice on governance, contractual and compliance matters
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers, and help set legal process and risk frameworks

About You

• England & Wales qualified solicitor, 10+ PQE (Heads of Legal and GC-track lawyers very welcome)
• Corporate and/or commercial background gained in private practice and/or in-house
• Exposure to commercial technology, data or digital contracting
• Consultancy, professional services or infrastructure-facing experience would be a real advantage
• Strong commercial judgement with the gravitas to advise and challenge senior stakeholders
• Comfortable leading, influencing and operating at pace in a complex, global environment
