Head of Sales – Electrical Safety & Power Quality (Industrial Division)
Our client is a market leader in high-performance electrical safety and power quality solutions. They are seeking a Head of Sales to lead their industrial division, covering key sectors such as Oil & Gas, Marine, and Renewables across the UK and Ireland.
This is a senior leadership role for a commercially driven professional with a strong Electrical Engineering background and experience delivering growth in complex, technical environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical sales engineers to achieve targets
- Define and deliver the sales strategy for industrial sectors (Oil & Gas, Marine, Renewables)
- Manage key accounts, including EPCs, operators, and major contractors
- Provide technical consultation on electrical safety, insulation monitoring, and power quality
- Identify and secure high-value, long-cycle projects
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align solutions with market needs
Essential requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience leading a technical sales team
- Background in electrical, power distribution, or related industries
- Strong commercial and strategic skills
- Experience managing complex tenders and contract negotiations
Desirable experience
- Knowledge of Marine, Oil & Gas, or Renewable energy systems
- Experience working with EPCs and tier-one contractors
- Strong stakeholder management at the senior level
