Health And Safety Manager
Our client is looking to recruit a H & S Advisor
Brentwood based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
£40,000 - £45,000
Overview
The successful candidate will deliver a proactive health and safety service, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and establishing effective policies, procedures and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Management and Compliance
- Risk Assessments and Workplace Inspections
- Accident and Incident Management
- Training and Employee Engagement
- Auditing, Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Person Specification
- Previous health and safety experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, automotive or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections, investigations and audits.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Internal Auditor training or relevant auditing experience.
- Experience with COSHH assessments and safety data sheets.
