We are looking for someone with a real interest in our history, the buildings and their contents, who can help conserve them to the standard they deserve: the best. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a world class lab, supported by an AHRC £1 million research infrastructure investment.
In this post you will work in and implement, project-manage and deliver specialist heritage science operations and cutting-edge research projects that support the Conservation & Collection Care, and Collections Management (CCC-CM) team’s annual and longer-term strategic programme of scientific investigations and research. This includes collaborating alongside the Heritage Science Manager on major research initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, as well as providing expert guidance to conservators, curators and other colleagues across HRP on science-based research and investigations, ensuring this work meets the highest professional standards.
