We're supporting a major enterprise transformation programme seeking an experienced IAM Architect to define and govern the integration of AI and agentic capabilities across identity and access management platforms.

This role will focus on building secure, scalable and auditable AI-enabled IAM solutions, driving architecture standards, integration patterns and governance across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for AI-enabled IAM capabilities across IGA, PAM, authentication and directory services.
• Establish reference architectures for copilots, RAG, workflow orchestration and agent-based automation.
• Define secure integration patterns across IAM platforms, APIs, event-driven architectures and cloud services.
• Develop standards for prompt management, environment segregation, secrets handling and operational controls.
• Embed security, auditability, risk management and responsible AI principles into all architectural designs.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews and technical decision-making across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with security, IAM engineering, enterprise architecture and AI platform teams to drive adoption and delivery.

Required Experience

• Strong IAM architecture experience covering IGA, PAM, authentication and access governance.
• Experience designing secure enterprise integrations using APIs, events and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of GenAI, LLM and agentic AI patterns including RAG, orchestration and guardrails.
• Strong security architecture background covering least privilege, segregation of duties, secrets management and threat modelling.
• Experience with platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, ServiceNow and HashiCorp Vault.
• Cloud and platform architecture expertise including Kubernetes, API gateways and event streaming technologies.
• Understanding of AI security frameworks, Zero Trust principles and enterprise governance controls.
