Investment Analyst - Alternatives

Licensed sponsor West Midlands Full-time Posted 14 hours ago

Join LGPS Central at a pivotal moment—where investment meets long term impact.

Based in Wolverhampton, the Investment Analyst is a core contributor across LGPS Central’s Investment function, supporting the delivery of high-quality, well governed and long-term investment outcomes across all major asset classes used in institutional investment portfolios.

‘Fit for the Future’ is strengthening expectations around pooling, governance, transparency and the role of pools in implementing investment strategy. Alongside this, government proposals set out a clearer framework for strategic asset allocation across nine high level asset class buckets, including an ‘Other Alternatives’ bucket.

We are building analyst capacity across these nine asset class buckets to support stronger decision making, better value for money, and consistent delivery at scale. From day one, you will be part of critical work that matters.

This role offers broad exposure across strategies, structures and governance arrangements within a collaborative and FCA regulated environment.
