IT Business Analyst 6 months FTC
Here at Bristol Airport we have ambitious growth plans and with increased passenger numbers we need to ensure we're also increasing our standards and performance. As part of this, we're looking to bring in an Asset Management Platform to ensure the continued and improved management of our Assets. And we need a motivated IT Business Analyst to join us on a 6 month contract to focus on gathering the ‘as is’ of our full Asset Management lifecycle and develop requirements from across the business to support the scoring of solutions at tender stage based on the fit versus the signed off requirements.

The role will report into our IT Programme Manager and will work closely with stakeholders accross the business to ensure we identify a system that meets business and stakeholder needs. You'll be required on site at least 3 days out of 5 and will be employed for 6 months on a fixed term contract basis.
The role closes Thursday 1st October 2026 and interviews will take place w/c 5th October 2026.
About you:
To be right for this role you'll have previous experience in a business analyst role with solid IT accumen. And comprehensive experience of MS Office, MS Project, Visio.
You'll have experience of requirements management, specifically eliciting requirements by facilitating workshops, interviews, document analysis and shadowing. Alongside excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret business and stakeholder needs and translate them into business/operational requirements.
You may have worked on fixed term contracts before or, will be able to evidence how you can quickly come up to speed with a new business, stakeholders and internal processes and make an early impact.
You'll be confident meeting and quickly building effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders accross multiple levels and will be able to deliver impact at pace.
You'll have professional BA qualification or the equivalent work experience.
If you have experience implementing an Asset Management System this will be a bonus but by no means a requirement.
