Job Description

The Role: Working within the Treasury team, the Junior Cash Analyst will be responsible for managing a number of bank accounts and ensuring cash transactions are accurately processed and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electronically downloading bank statements for a large number of companies
  • Running a programme to match store takings to cash deposited on the bank statements
  • Following up internally and with the cash centres on any missing cash or discrepancies
  • Raising supplier and other payments via various methods
  • Posting other cash received, charges and any other entries on the statements to the accounting system
  • Reconciling bank statements on a daily and monthly basis
  • Various other cash and bank related matters

Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) would be advantageous.
  • Highly adaptable with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels both internally and externally
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with an enthusiastic approach
  • Good excel including sumifs, vlookups, and pivot tables and confident in learning new systems
