Role Description The Kitchen and Bedroom Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Crawley. In this position, the consultant guides customers through the entire design and sales journey, from initial showroom consultation to final order placement. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming customers, understanding their lifestyle, budget, and design preferences, and using design tools to create tailored kitchen and bedroom solutions. The consultant provides clear product information, presents layout and material options, prepares accurate quotations, and supports customers in choosing suitable finance options. Additional duties include maintaining showroom standards, coordinating with installation and customer service teams, following up on leads, and meeting agreed sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide a high-quality showroom experience.
  • Candidates should ideally have experience in retail or sales environments, particularly within home improvement, furniture, or interiors.
  • Candidates should demonstrate good numerical and IT skills for preparing quotations, working with design software, and handling finance options.
  • Candidates should be goal-oriented, with the ability to work to sales targets, manage time effectively, and collaborate with showroom and installation teams.
  • A background in design, interiors, or a related field, and prior experience in kitchen or bedroom sales, would be beneficial.
