About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce is looking for a Life Sciences Program Executive (PE) to lead high-impact, enterprise-scale AI and digital transformations for our most strategic Life Sciences customers. Operating within the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub, this executive-facing individual contributor leads cross-functional delivery teams across complex, multi-workstream programs where strategic alignment, precise execution, and executive relationship management are essential.

In this role, you will serve as the strategic advisor and delivery lead for flagship engagements across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical technology. You will manage end-to-end program delivery—governing P&L performance, leading executive steering committees, and leveraging AI and agentic workflows to accelerate customer value, commercial efficiency, and operational modernization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Governance & Executive Delivery

  • Own end-to-end program delivery and execution for multi-million-dollar ($10M+) complex Life Sciences transformations.
  • Lead executive steering committees and maintain trusted advisory relationships with customer C-suite executives, business sponsors, and IT leaders.
  • Define program strategy, governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, and key success metrics aligned with customer outcomes.
  • Manage engagement P&L, contract commitments, revenue forecasting, earned value analysis, and bid-versus-delivered margins.

AI Innovation & Operational Transformation

  • Embed AI productivity tools and agentic workflows into delivery operations to improve team efficiency and model outcomes for customers.
  • Guide customers in adopting Agentforce and Life Sciences platform capabilities to modernize field engagement, commercial operations, and clinical workflows.
  • Align IT strategy, business processes, and governance to drive solution adoption and measurable business impact.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional project teams and partner resources across global geographies without direct positional authority.
  • Drive alignment across internal Salesforce functions—including Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Support—to operate seamlessly as One Salesforce.
  • Contribute reusable artifacts, delivery frameworks, and operational best practices to elevate service delivery standards across the organization.

Risk Management & Opportunity Identification

  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate program risks through structured governance and actionable mitigation plans.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Teams to identify account expansion opportunities that support long-term customer success.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in professional services or management consulting delivery, with direct accountability for enterprise program execution, risk management, scope governance, and financial outcomes.
  • 5+ years of direct industry experience within Life Sciences (pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, or healthcare) with deep understanding of commercial, operational, or regulatory priorities.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading large, complex enterprise programs ($10M+ scope) from inception through operational readiness.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI productivity tools, automation, or modern software tools within program delivery contexts.
  • Proven experience managing program P&L, earned value metrics, revenue forecasting, and delivery margins.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional delivery teams—including third-party system integrators—across multiple regions without formal positional authority.
  • Executive presence with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of facilitating steering committees and translating complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience implementing enterprise AI platforms or autonomous agentic workflows (e.g., Salesforce Agentforce) within regulated industry environments.
  • Subject matter expertise in Life Sciences commercial operations, including HCP engagement, field enablement, territory management, MSL workflows, and compliance controls.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud or specialized industry CRM platforms.
  • Professional certifications in program management or agile delivery (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe).
  • Experience in outcomes-based or fixed-fee delivery models requiring proactive margin control and change management.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud) are advantageous; role-relevant certification pathways and continuous learning are fully supported post-hire through the global education reimbursement program.

Additional Information

  • Travel: Up to 25% expected, subject to customer and program requirements.
