Whipps Cross University Hospital Division of Medicine Locum Consultant Endoscopist - 12-Month Fixed Term An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12-month Fixed Term Locum Consultant Endoscopist to join our established team of 14 Gastroenterology and Hepatology Consultants at Whipps Cross Hospital , part of Barts Health NHS Trust . This role is well suited to candidates who have recently achieved CCT as well as more experienced clinicians seeking a focused endoscopy post.

Main duties of the job
Our Endoscopy Unit hosts BCSP lists , VCE , and has contributed to validation work for Colon Capsule , Cytosponge , and is currently trialing Hemopill . We also have a dedicated clinical trials facility.
About the Role The post holder will take a lead role in delivering outpatient and inpatient endoscopy , contributing: 5 diagnostic upper and lower GI endoscopy sessions per week 1 outpatient clinic , with associated triage, Advice & Refer, and administrative duties Participation in departmental meetings, MDTs, audit, and service improvement is expected and encouraged.
