Where will you be working?
At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will join BGEN - one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear and food and beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions
What will you be doing?
Carry out inspection, functional and electrical testing of low voltage switchboards, MCCs and control panels in line with BS EN 61439 standards. Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to identify, diagnose and rectify wiring and build faults. Use a range of electrical test equipment, including insulation resistance, continuity, and primary/secondary injection testing tools. Complete all testing activities prior to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ensuring compliance with electrical safety and safe isolation procedures. Maintain accurate test records and quality documentation while working closely with manufacturing, engineering and project teams to deliver right-first-time quality.
