About The Role
As a CBRE Maintenance Supervisor, you will guide the team responsible for maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Please Note: This is a Monday-Friday role with an on-call Rota.

What You’ll Do
- Set the team goals for performance and deadlines on an annual basis. Ensure compliance with the company’s plans and vision. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Announce important information from upper management to the team.
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Review and approve time sheets, holidays, sickness and all other types of absences for the team via my time portal.
- Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.
- Adhere to CBRE Escalation procedure in the event of an issue on site.
- Verify adherence to legal and company policies and procedures. Complete disciplinary actions if the need arises.
- Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
- Ensuring statutory compliance with all equipment and services under your remit.
- Management of e-log Health and safety logbooks, ensuring all documentation is uploaded to the system.
- Monitor and review permits, RAMS and working practices on all maintenance activities
- May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
- Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
- Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
- Experience in a similar environment.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical and/or electrical Engineering.
- In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
- Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Good organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Math skills to aid with quoting, projects and general day to day.
- Understanding of site building management systems.
- Have a can-do attitude and flexible approach
