Success in the role means that you need to bring the ability to: quickly and accurately produce management information, embrace an ever-changing environment, be excited by the possibilities that AI brings to the finance function and definitely a ‘roll your sleeves up’ attitude. But the most important aspect is a great sense of humour! This is a non-negotiable!


UK based, remote with some face to face, 20-30 hours per week depending on experience. Full time may be considered for someone looking to complete their accountancy qualification and develop their career. We are super curious to explore all options with the right candidates. 


The Role

  • Manage month end process to produce monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, business performance analysis and KPI reporting
  • Oversight and management of CMap project financials and internal resourcing information, including creating reports in CMap for use by finance and the wider business
  • Maintain data integrity and alignment between CMap and financial systems
  • Support the delivery of Board reporting and strategic financial information to senior leadership
  • Develop periodic financial forecasts, produce regular cash flow forecasting and performance projections
  • Support annual budgeting process and produce ad hoc analysis to inform business decisions
  • Continually improve financial processes, reporting and operational efficiency through effective use of technology, automation, AI-driven solutions
  • Support cross-functional technology and systems projects
  • Review and maintain IT service contracts and related supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies and internal controls
  • Provide financial support and guidance to managers and colleagues across the business

You

  • You must have a UK financial qualification or be part qualified and looking to obtain full qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Ideally you will have experience in consultancy, professional service or similar businesses
  • You will be highly proficient at Excel with the ability to make the numbers tell a story
  • You will be tech savvy and curious about AI
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • A can-do attitude is mandatory, as is the ability to be proactive and work independently
  • Love a challenge and possess an analytical and creative mindset to solve problems and support data-driven decision-making
  • A ‘twinkle in eye’, an easy smile and a great sense of humour is a must!
