Expleo is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Lead Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, supporting a prestigious customer based in Solihull. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within a fast-paced automotive/manufacturing environment.
WHAT TO EXPEC
TTrim and Final Facilities are responsible for the development and introduction of new and modified facilities associated with new model introductions and model year changes. Ensure facility installations are delivered through strict adherence to Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS) and Launch Quality Operating System (LQOS) Gateways deliverables

Key Responsibiliti
- esProject manage the planning and implementation of facility installations for new model introduction
- s.Creation of detailed facility timing plans in line with manufacturing launch strategie
- s.Layout planning and creation of new and modified facilities to accommodate new mode
- lsCreate Request for Quotation (RFQ) and technical specificatio
- nsSupplier selection and vendor management activitie
- s.Provide feasibility statements for Product designs to suit manufacturing process & facility requirement
- s.Create and maintain detailed cost trackers up to and beyond programme approva
- l.Achieve Equipment Capability targets for all new & modified facilities, including Operating Efficiency Effeteness target
- s.Ensure adherence to customers Reliability & Maintainability, 8D, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) principle
- s.Manage and resolve technical issues and escalate where appropriat
- e.Represent Trim & Final Facilities at program meetings at all levels and present statu
- s.Coordinate and manage the New Equipment Procurement Team (NEP
