Europe Arab Bank is looking to recruit a temporary resource into our London team, supporting the head of marketing on all areas of team responsibility. This will be a 6 month assignment at our Mayfair head office where the candidate will work onsite 3 days per week


The purpose of this fixed-term role is to support the Marketing & Communications Manager in delivering day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) activities across the function, including internal communications, basic external marketing content, and coordination of marketing-related materials and approvals. The role will also provide some support to strategic marketing projects as required.


This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with foundational experience who can operate independently with guidance, and who is keen to contribute within a professional and fast-paced banking environment.


Principle Accountabilities and Duties:


This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Working under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will contribute to the following key activities:


Internal and External Communications

• Assist in drafting and coordinating internal communications such as quarterly newsletters and office screensavers.

• Support creation and scheduling of external content, primarily LinkedIn posts.

• Assist in the planning and execution of social media and digital content activities, including monitoring performance, identifying content opportunities and supporting the development of channel – specific content strategies.


Marketing Coordination and Administration

• Maintain and organise internal documentation and marketing mailbox.

• Liaise with internal departments to gather content and support approval processes.

• Assist in the coordination of corporate sponsorship and gifting initiatives.


Content and Design Support

• Support basic copywriting and content creation.

• Assist with updates and design tasks using tools.

• Create engaging digital content and basic marketing assets for social media, internal communications, and email campaigns ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and best practice.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

• 1–2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or office-based support role

• Thrives off learning new skills and challenging himself/herself, and brings creative solutions to the team.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to grasp new concepts easily and to adept within a changing environment. Creative, Canva or similar platforms to produce digital marketing materials.

• Working Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.

• Some experience using design and content creation tools such as Adobe

• Methodical, with keen attention to details and excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.

• Strong expertise in using Microsoft applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong organisational and administrative skills

• A collaborative and professional approach with strong interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are a plus but not required
