IHG Ignite is our global performance marketing programme, helping hotels participate in digital marketing activity that supports their commercial performance across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy operation and keeping things running smoothly. You'll help hotels understand how Ignite works, support colleagues and partners, deliver training, answer questions and keep a lot of moving pieces heading in the right direction.
As IHG Ignite Marketing Manager, you'll work across a wide network of hotels, commercial teams, marketing specialists and external partners. You'll be the person colleagues and hotels turn to when they need answers, guidance or help solving a problem.
No two days are the same. You might spend the morning running a training session, the afternoon working through hotel enquiries, and the rest of the day coordinating projects or working with colleagues on future plans. If you like variety, autonomy and plenty to get your teeth into, you'll probably enjoy this one.
What You'll Do
We're more interested in capability than a perfect career history.
You might come from project management, operations, communications, customer success, training, sales support or marketing. What matters most is that you're organised, proactive and comfortable handling lots of different priorities.
You'll be a strong communicator who enjoys working with others, takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do. You'll be confident presenting to groups, comfortable building relationships and happy switching between projects as priorities change.
Marketing experience would be useful, but it's not essential. We can teach the marketing side. What we can't teach quite as easily is the ability to stay organised, build trust, communicate well and keep things on track.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of what's going on, working across different countries and functions, and having real ownership of their work.
