Marketing Manager (London)
Glite is an AI company building language-learning products for intermediate and advanced speakers. Our mobile-first products use AI to help learners make meaningful progress beyond the basics. We’re hiring a Marketing Manager to help drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention. This is a full-time, predominantly office-based role (4 days office based / 1 day remote) in our Holborn office in Central London. You’ll work closely with the CMO to implement marketing programmes across the customer journey. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on marketer who moves quickly, learns by doing and scales what delivers results.
Role Overview
This is a broad growth marketing role spanning brand / growth. You’ll turn priorities into action, manage programmes end to end and work across channels, creative, customer journeys and post-click experiences as required. We value pace, ownership and practical problem-solving. You should be comfortable getting into the detail, launching tests, measuring performance and deciding what to improve, stop or scale based on commercial impact and performance against agreed KPIs.
Key Responsibilities (Depending on Experience)
- Plan and execute integrated brand, top-of-funnel acquisition and retention programmes in partnership with the CMO, taking initiatives from brief through launch, measurement and iteration.
- Grow brand awareness and share of voice through non-paid activity, including content marketing, organic social, PR, influencer marketing, partnerships and other relevant brand initiatives.
- With the CMO, evolve Glite’s brand positioning, messaging, tone of voice and brand guidelines, ensuring consistent execution across campaigns, channels, customer communications and product touchpoints.
- Manage and grow social media channels, developing an editorial and testing plan for content, formats, audiences and distribution.
- Build and run influencer and creator programmes, including sourcing, outreach, briefing, campaign delivery, relationship management, tracking and performance evaluation.
- Own and improve lifecycle activity across CRM, email marketing, onboarding, customer journeys and retention campaigns, strengthening engagement and long-term customer value while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Use audience, customer and competitor insights to identify top-of-funnel opportunities, shape messaging and inform campaign and content priorities.
- Support creative production and manage the marketing production pipeline, coordinating effectively with agency, freelance and PR partners to keep delivery on track.
- Define and report on KPIs across brand, acquisition and retention, including reach, share of voice, brand awareness, customer acquisition cost, conversion, engagement, retention and lifetime value.
- Use AI tools, automation and connected workflows to improve the speed, quality and scalability of marketing execution.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years’ marketing experience in a predominantly mobile-first growth company, ideally within a consumer subscription or app business.
- Hands-on experience running broad customer acquisition and retention programmes across multiple channels and stages of the funnel.
- A can-do attitude and strong sense of ownership: you roll up your sleeves, solve problems and get high-quality work over the line.
- Strong commercial judgement, with a consistent focus on business impact, efficient growth and return on investment.
- An analytical mindset and confidence using data, tracking and experiment results to decide what to improve, stop or scale.
- Practical experience using AI to optimise and automate marketing tasks and workflows, along with the curiosity to test new tools and approaches.
- Comfort working at pace in a growing company, balancing several priorities and learning through execution.
- Clear communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Experience with consumer apps, attribution and mobile measurement, App Store optimisation, subscription funnels or language-learning products would be an advantage.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and a permanent position in Central London.
- 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension and free lunch, tea and coffee.
- Significant ownership, autonomy and direct access to senior leadership.
- The opportunity to build the growth engine behind an ambitious consumer AI product.
