Marketing Specialist (German Marketplace)

Location: London (Hybrid)

Contract: 12 Months (Potential Extension)

Approx: £80,000 - £91,000 PAYE


We're looking for a German-speaking Marketing Specialist to support large-scale customer engagement campaigns and high-profile promotional events across a leading global eCommerce marketplace.


This role will focus on executing end-to-end marketing campaigns across onsite and outbound channels, helping drive customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful customer experiences during major peak trading periods, including Q4 events.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of large-scale promotional and deal-event marketing campaigns.
  • Drive onsite merchandising initiatives that improve product discovery, customer engagement, and conversion.
  • Execute lifecycle marketing campaigns across onsite placements and outbound channels.
  • Coordinate customer communications via email, push notifications, WhatsApp, and other digital marketing channels.
  • Partner with marketing, merchandising, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance and execution quality, identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • Refine and localise customer-facing content to ensure exceptional German language quality and relevance.


Required Experience

  • Native-level German language skills.
  • Previous experience in marketing, campaign management, merchandising, CRM, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting eCommerce or retail marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of onsite merchandising and customer engagement strategies.
  • Experience working with CRM, lifecycle marketing, or outbound communication channels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and operational KPIs.
