Role Description
We’re looking for a talented mobile developer to join our agile, multidisciplinary team, building high-quality apps that interact with our IoT devices. You’ll take features from requirements through to release, working closely with designers, product owners and customers to deliver secure, reliable and high-performing mobile experiences.
Our apps span both platforms, so experience with Android would be a real advantage – but if you’re a strong iOS developer keen to broaden your skills, we’d still love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and maintain high-quality iOS applications in Swift
- Turn user and business requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions
- Write clean, well-tested code that follows modern iOS development practices
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow developers in an agile, multidisciplinary team
- Develop automated tests and help evolve our continuous integration and delivery processes
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, defects and performance problems
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Strong commercial experience developing and releasing iOS applications in Swift
- Solid grasp of modern iOS development patterns and practices
- Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and backend services
- Experience with automated testing, including unit and UI tests
- A proven ability to diagnose and resolve defects and performance issues
Desirable
- Commercial experience developing for Android (ideally with Java)
- Flutter as a cross-platform framework
- GitHub CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes
- Mobile application security and data protection principles
- Analytics, monitoring and application performance tools
