About The Role:


CloudRock is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Account Executive to join our growing sales team.


The New Business Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new customers and winning net-new Workday implementation opportunities. The role focuses on organizations evaluating Workday as part of a major business transformation initiative and positioning CloudRock as their implementation and transformation partner of choice.


Working closely with Workday, alliance partners and CloudRock's delivery leadership, the New Business Account Executive will identify, qualify and convert new opportunities, managing the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through contract signature.


This is a true hunting role, requiring a proactive sales professional with proven experience generating pipeline, building executive relationships and closing complex enterprise software and services opportunities.


Success will be measured through new logo acquisition, Workday implementation bookings, revenue growth and strategic market expansion.


Key Job Responsibilities

New Logo Acquisition

  • Identify, develop and secure net-new CloudRock customers.
  • Build and execute territory and account plans focused on organizations evaluating Workday.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified Workday implementation opportunities.
  • Create and execute prospecting strategies to generate new business opportunities.


Workday Opportunity Development

  • Position CloudRock as a trusted Workday implementation partner.
  • Develop relationships with executive stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT and Transformation functions.
  • Understand customer transformation objectives, business drivers and implementation requirements.
  • Lead opportunity qualification, ensuring alignment with CloudRock's strategic and commercial objectives.


Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity qualification through contract signature.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Develop account strategies designed to maximize win probability and commercial outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal solution teams to create compelling implementation approaches and commercial proposals.
  • Lead proposal development, customer presentations and executive briefings.
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual agreements.


Ecosystem & Market Development

  • Build strong relationships with Workday sales teams and partner organizations.
  • Leverage alliance relationships to identify and progress opportunities.
  • Represent CloudRock at industry events, Workday conferences and networking activities.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity and customer buying behaviors.


Forecasting & Sales Governance

  • Maintain accurate opportunity, forecast and pipeline information within CRM system.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline health, bookings performance and forecast attainment.
  • Ensure opportunities progress in accordance with CloudRock sales governance processes.


Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, alliances, solution consultants, delivery teams and leadership.
  • Support smooth transition from sales to delivery following contract award.
  • Ensure customer expectations, assumptions and commercial commitments are clearly communicated internally.


Travel

  • Travel as required to support customer meetings, workshops, industry events and wider business activities.


Necessary Skills & Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 years' enterprise sales experience within ERP, HCM, Financial Systems, SaaS, professional services or consulting services.
  • Proven track record of winning net-new customers and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling complex transformation programs and professional services engagements.
  • Demonstrable success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline generation capabilities.
  • Experience developing executive-level relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to identify, develop and leverage customer sponsors and coaches.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy.


Desirable Experience

  • Experience selling Workday implementation services.
  • Experience working within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Existing relationships with Workday sales teams and alliance partners.
  • Experience responding to formal procurement processes including RFIs and RFPs.
  • Knowledge of HR, Finance and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience selling enterprise software implementation projects.
