About the role
Hybrid working: 3 days in the London office (Holborn) in addition to sales prospect office visits.
This is a brand-new role within our business. We are seeking a dynamic, tenacious, and self‑motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive an ambitious new logo growth across the UK SME sector. This is a pure hunter position and ideal for a sales professional who thrives on identifying, nurturing, and closing new Managed Services opportunities in a longer, 12–24 month, sales cycle.
In this standalone BDM role, you will be the engine behind our new business acquisition strategy - shaping the pipeline, opening doors, and converting high‑quality opportunities, giving you an opportunity to build a high‑performing engine, from the ground up. Unlike many MSP BDM roles that sit within large teams, this role offers:

Key responsibilities
- Hunt, identify, and convert new Managed IT Services opportunities across ICP SMEs in London and the South East
- Build and manage a high-velocity pipeline, adopting a structured approach emphasising disciplined prospecting and qualification.
- Proactively engage warm prospects, generate cold leads, and leverage existing relationships to open doors, by utilising all suitable AI and automation tools available.
- Run the full sales cycle end‑to‑end: discovery, solution shaping, proposal, negotiation, and close, in partnership with Marketing and the Customer Success team.
- Use AI‑driven tools to streamline prospecting, outreach, research, and personalised engagement.
- Collaborate with technical teams to shape customer-ready proposals and scoping documents.
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and deliver timely forecasts.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, networking groups, and partner engagements
About you
Experience and background
- Proven success selling Managed IT Services within an MSP environment, either as a BDM, SDR, or Sales Executive
- Strong understanding of SME technology challenges (cloud, M365, Copilot, cyber security, digital workplace)
- Commercially sharp, resilient, and experienced in the tech/MSP ecosystem in London
- A strong personal network and the confidence to leverage it immediately
- Demonstrable track record of winning new business and achieving/exceeding targets
- Comfortable operating and with experience of managing long sales cycle environment (12–24 months)
- Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools and the ability to apply them to accelerate prospecting and outreach
