NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Midwives to become part of the Inner Moray Firth Community Midwifery Team. The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, be a good team player and have excellent time management skills. These posts are suitable for student midwives due to qualify in September 2026. There are plans in place to develop the community midwife hub incorporating a day assessment unit where Midwives will have the opportunity to be part of this new venture and work in a supportive dynamic team.
Inverness is a great location if you enjoy both outdoor pursuits and culture & is located a short distance from the Airport where flights run regularly to London, Birmingham, Bristol and Ireland. We provide a 7 - day midwifery service and there is an on-call commitment required for the provision of a Home Birth/Domino service within the Inner Moray Firth community midwifery teams.
