About The Role

As an Operations Consultant, you'll work directly with our adviser businesses across the UK, helping them improve how they operate, increase efficiency and achieve their business goals.

You'll partner with Practice Managers and Advisers to review existing processes,find opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions. Using your understanding of operational excellence and continuous improvement principles, you'll help businesses strengthen their operations and build sustainable ways of working.

This role offers a blend of consultancy, coaching and problem-solving. You'll work with a wide range of businesses, supporting them through change, helping them overcome operational challenges and driving improvements that deliver measurable results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting adviser businesses to improve operational performance, efficiency and productivity.
  • Reviewing processes and ways of working to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analysing operational data and business information to support recommendations.
  • Delivering practical solutions that improve business outcomes.
  • Applying Lean and continuous improvement principles to support operational excellence.
  • Delivering support through meetings, workshops, training sessions and virtual consultations.
  • Working with colleagues across the business to provide joined-up support for Partner Practices.
  • Helping businesses adopt efficient and sustainable ways of working.
  • Ensuring activity aligns with risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with Partners and Practice Managers across the Partnership.

About You

You'll enjoy working with people, solving problems and finding better ways of doing things. You have experience supporting operational improvement initiatives and can use data, insight and business knowledge to see opportunities and recommend solutions. You build strong relationships quickly, communicate clearly and are comfortable working with a range of collaborators. You'll be organised, adaptable and able to lead challenging priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering positive outcomes for the businesses you support.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience supporting operational improvement, business improvement or consultancy activities.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Operational Excellence or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to analyse processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Criteria

  • Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent accreditation.
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management or another regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of operational consultancy, business transformation or change initiatives.
  • Experience using CRM, workflow or business management systems.
  • Understanding of adviser-led or partner-led financial businesses
