You'll have the opportunity to develop your knowledge within a complex healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience across healthcare litigation, inquests, insurance matters, investigations and wider in-house legal operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and administration of claims, inquests, investigations and disputes.
  • Manage a caseload of lower-value claims with support from the legal team and external advisers.
  • Maintain accurate case records, legal databases and management information.
  • Monitor key legal deadlines and ensure matters progress in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate document collection, disclosure exercises and witness information requests.
  • Liaise with hospitals, insurers, solicitors and counsel to obtain information and updates.
  • Act as a key point of contact for claims and inquest-related queries from hospital teams.
  • Support insurer notifications, claims reporting processes and insurance data management.
  • Review and process external legal invoices and assist with matter-related financial administration.
  • Support mailbox management, triage incoming legal queries and escalate matters where required.
  • Assist with internal reporting, presentations, legal training administration and knowledge management activities.
