Plant Fitter

Plant Fitter Reporting To: Lead Plant Fitter Location: Roall Lane, Kellington, Nr. Goole. DN14 0NY Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm & pre auction weekend. Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, US and Canada. Key Activities: • Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant and machinery. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults. • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. • Follow all health and safety procedures. About the role The Person: We highly value strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities for this role, given the fast-paced nature of our workshop environment. The ideal candidate will have proven mechanical experience, a practical hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship. The Requirements Essential Criteria: • Valid Driving Licence. • Previous experience in a mechanical or Plant Fitter role. • Good understanding of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices. • Relevant mechanical qualification or apprenticeship. • Experience working with construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or commercial vehicles.
