How You'll Help Us Live Our Purpose

We've been helping our members save for their future and buy their own home since 1875. Join us and you'll play a big role in helping us to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.

It's a purpose that drives everything we do. And you can play your part too – join our Technology division as a D365 Principal Architect.

How You'll Make a Difference

You'll set the Society-wide strategy, target architecture and multi-year roadmap for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, identifying how the platforms can be exploited to deliver measurable value, simpler operations and better member and colleague experiences.

Working across business, transformation and technology teams, you'll establish the governance, design principles and guardrails needed for secure, scalable and sustainable adoption, providing best-practice guidance and ensuring solutions remain aligned to the Society's long-term platform strategy.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Established architecture leadership across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform in a complex, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated environment
  • Deep knowledge of platform architecture, governance, security and lifecycle management
  • Proven product thinking, with experience engaging the business to shape demand, structure and prioritise platform roadmaps and backlogs, and translate strategic opportunities into deliverable outcomes and measurable value
  • Experience connecting technology investment to business capabilities and measurable outcomes
  • Clear communication of complex concepts to senior leaders, delivery teams and non-technical audiences
  • A collaborative, outcome-focused approach, with the ability to influence decisions, coach others and build capability

And in return, you'll get the best from us

  • Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office
  • Annual bonus of up to 15%
  • Matched pension contributions up to 10%
  • 30 days holiday, plus bank holidays and holiday purchase scheme
  • Colleague Mortgage and Saver products
  • 2 days' volunteering per year

We'll give you a place to belong with the support to learn, develop and shape a meaningful career.

You'll be joining a truly purpose-focused culture which helped us win the Leading with Purpose award at the 2023 Business Culture Awards. This recognises how we've embedded our purpose with our colleagues, and the actions we've taken to put home ownership within reach of more people, generation after generation.
