Licensed sponsor London Full-time Posted 3 hours ago

Are you an experienced Corporate Solicitor in London looking for a new and exciting opportunity to join a national, growing Corporate group? If so, click the link to learn more and apply!

The role

Join our growing Corporate team in the heart of the City as a Principal Associate. You'll work alongside a team of talented lawyers in London, forming part of a national corporate practice of around 150 specialists.

Advising everyone from high-growth start-ups and university spinouts to established businesses, management teams and multinational organisations, you'll lead on complex, high-value transactions with real autonomy and client exposure.

The person

You'll be a qualified solicitor with 8+ years' PQE gained in a City, international, national or respected regional firm. You'll have a strong track record of leading corporate transactions independently, particularly M&A deals, and the confidence to manage sophisticated matters with minimal supervision.

We're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with commercial awareness, leadership capability and an entrepreneurial mindset. Experience in private equity or venture capital work would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to help grow a thriving London practice, build lasting client relationships and play a key role in developing the next generation of corporate lawyers.

The activities

  • Lead mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions from start to finish, managing day-to-day client relationships and deal delivery.
  • Draft, negotiate and review key transaction documents across a broad range of corporate matters.
  • Work on corporate finance, private equity, fundraising, shareholder agreements, joint ventures and strategic corporate advisory work.
  • Supervise and develop Senior Associates and junior lawyers, ensuring exceptional quality of work and supporting their progression.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our national offices and specialist teams to deliver seamless client service.
  • Play an active role in business development, helping to strengthen client relationships, expand your network and contribute to the growth of the practice.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.
