Principal Data Governance Consultant | Purview / Collibra
We’re looking for a Principal Data Governance Consultant to support an upcoming enterprise data governance programme.
This is not simply a platform implementation role.
We’re looking for someone who can assess an organisation’s current data governance landscape, understand the business and technical requirements, and help determine the right technology and operating model going forward.
We’d particularly like to speak with consultants who have strong experience across:
- Microsoft Purview and Collibra
- Data governance strategy and operating models
- Data cataloguing, lineage, metadata and business glossaries
- Data ownership and stewardship frameworks
- Data governance maturity assessments
- Technology evaluation and platform selection
- Running Proofs of Concept / option assessments
- Developing implementation roadmaps and recommendations
- Working with enterprise-scale, regulated organisations
You should be comfortable sitting between senior stakeholders, data teams and technology teams and being able to provide an independent view on questions such as: Purview, Collibra or a hybrid approach what is the right solution, and why?
This would suit a Principal Consultant, Data Governance Architect or senior Data Governance Lead who has previously helped organisations make this type of decision.
