We are supporting a major financial services client in hiring a Pro*C Programmer to work on a legacy, bespoke system, with the aim of expanding it.
This is a hands-on development role working as part of a project team alongside existing support SMEs who do not have Pro*C capabilities. The successful candidate will review the existing Pro*C codebase in detail and determine how the current batch processing suite can be optimised or re-engineered to increase capacity, with minimal impact on downstream systems. Further application-level work may also be required as issues emerge through the change and regression testing process.
This role suits an experienced Pro*C Programmer comfortable working independently on a legacy, bespoke codebase, and confident acting as the resident Pro*C specialist within a wider support and project team.
