We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to join a leading UK telecommunications organisation on a 3-month contract, supporting a range of strategic and high-value procurement activity across Networks and Operations.

This is a commercially focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, challenge supplier costs and negotiate strong commercial outcomes.


Key areas will include:

  • Procurement of professional services, including activities such as drive testing
  • Supporting commercial negotiations across civils and network-related services
  • Managing complex procurement and contractual negotiations
  • Supporting neutral host activities and associated commercial arrangements
  • Developing sourcing strategies, assessing market dynamics and identifying opportunities to optimise cost, risk and value
  • Working closely with senior business, finance, technology and legal stakeholders
  • Supporting strategic supplier management and ensuring robust commercial outcomes


About you:

We’re looking for an experienced procurement professional with a strong track record of managing complex, high-value sourcing and commercial negotiations within a large, complex organisation.

You’ll have experience across telecommunications, and ideally RAN Networks, with the commercial confidence to challenge suppliers and influence senior stakeholders.


You should have:

  • Significant end-to-end strategic procurement experience
  • Strong commercial and contract negotiation skills
  • Experience managing high-value procurement activity
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • The ability to challenge costs, develop commercial strategies and deliver tangible value
  • Experience of professional services, civils, infrastructure or telecoms procurement would be highly beneficial
  • Exposure to neutral host environments would be advantageous
