Product Manager – Savings Pricing

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Pricing team and take ownership of Savings Pricing at YBS.

Reporting to the Pricing Lead - Savings, you'll play a key role in delivering our savings pricing strategy, helping to balance member value, funding requirements and commercial performance. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll monitor market movements, assess portfolio performance and develop pricing recommendations that support both our members and the Society's longer-term objectives.

You'll work closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Customer and Distribution teams, providing insight and recommendations to influence pricing decisions and trading activity across the savings portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in pricing, product management, commercial management or financial analysis who enjoys using data and insight to solve complex business challenges.

About the Role

• Managing the day-to-day trading performance of the savings portfolio.
• Developing pricing recommendations that balance customer outcomes, funding needs and commercial performance.
• Monitoring competitor activity, market developments and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and risks.
• Supporting the delivery of savings pricing changes, product launches and withdrawals.
• Building clear, evidence-based recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Providing analysis and insight on portfolio performance, pricing actions and market trends.
• Contributing to the development and delivery of the Society's savings pricing strategy.
• Ensuring all pricing activity delivers good customer outcomes and meets regulatory expectations.

About You:

We're interested in hearing from people who have

• Experience in pricing, product management, commercial management, portfolio management or a similar analytical role.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer, financial and business considerations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into clear recommendations.
• Experience of influencing stakeholders and building relationships across multiple teams.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to present recommendations to senior audiences.
• A proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering results.
• Financial services experience would be beneficial, particularly within savings, mortgages or retail banking, although this isn't essential.
