We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a major data transformation programme. You will be responsible for managing and prioritising a backlog of data platform, migration, integration and reporting initiatives, ensuring delivery teams remain focused on the highest-value outcomes.
Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers and analysts, you will translate business priorities into actionable delivery plans and drive successful outcomes across multiple workstreams. This role is based on the responsibilities outlined in the attached job description.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a prioritised backlog covering data platform, migration, integration and MI/reporting initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, refine and prioritise requirements.
- Drive alignment between business objectives and delivery activities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Architects, Data Engineers and Analysts.
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning and reviews.
- Ensure value is delivered through effective prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner within data, analytics or technology environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs.
- Understanding of data platforms, data migration and integration programmes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience working with Data Engineers, Analysts, BI Developers and QA teams.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Databricks, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience delivering data transformation, migration or modernisation programmes.
- Financial Services, Insurance or other regulated industry experience.
- Agile certifications such as Scrum Product Owner, AgilePM or SAFe.
