About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Program Manager with a background in the insurance industry to join our team. This is a key leadership role within the organization, where you will act as the central point of coordination for the delivery of high-impact, customer-facing programs, working closely with both internal teams and external partners.


You will ensure our clients realize their vision through efficient project delivery while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Your ability to manage complex dependencies and navigate organizational challenges will be crucial to achieving success.


In this role, you will:


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business development, ensuring alignment across all program activities.
  • Have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of programs, bringing in innovative approaches to improve processes and delivery.
  • Be responsible for scaling and optimizing program execution, driving efficiencies without compromising on quality or customer satisfaction.
  • Work directly with top-tier clients across a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, and retail, to deliver transformational fintech solutions.


What You’ll Be Doing:


As a Program Manager, your key responsibilities will include:


  • Managing Customer Relationships: Lead the overall engagement with customers, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.
  • Collaborating with Sales: Assist in winning new client business and develop delivery strategies that ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Coordinate planning activities and ensure successful execution of the agreed program vision. You will be responsible for a portfolio of delivery projects.
  • Managing Complex Dependencies: Plan and manage inputs to larger programs and portfolios when needed.
  • Removing Blockers and Managing Risks: Oversee program risks, budgets, billing, and people management, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Balancing Priorities: Effectively redeploy resources and personnel as program priorities evolve.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Understand, manage, and balance the needs of complex stakeholder groups, ensuring clear communication.
  • Escalation Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for the program, maintaining awareness of the broader context.


What You’ll Need:

  • Expertise in program planning and management in the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Experience delivering software on customer-facing projects; ideally, multi-platform, customer-centric software solutions.
  • Proven ability in mentoring and coaching teams.
  • Strong skills in influencing both delivery team members and senior stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
