About The Role

We are seeking experienced project engineers to work across our portfolio of clients. Working directly for a project manager, you will oversee and drive the successful mobilisation and delivery of access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance installation projects.

You will attend sites distributed regionally and provide a key interface between the internal client project teams, embedded commissioning teams and installation teams. The ideal candidate must excel in multitasking and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic setting. Good communication is key as is the ability to travel frequently.

What You Will Do

  • Travel regionally, where required, to complete surveys, data captures and quality assessments. These visits will be during the installation period at various key points, such as, containment inspection, installation progress, dry testing with local LSP and functional testing with online system.
  • Onsite witness testing as per our clients’ requirements, understanding client processes and procedures. You will be required to assess the installation is in line with their client’s basis of design and industry standard practices. Complete defects list and manage the defects close out process.
  • Local support for QCIC with LSP’s while onsite during the testing and commissioning phase. Provide both onsite and remote support to LSP during the commissioning phase of the project. Ensure that the local LSP are commissioning in line with QCIC and client standards. Assist with technical issues that may arise during these phases of works.
  • Assess and validate submitted designs against the clients’ technical standards. Review and verify client’s commissioning packs against their bespoke requirements.
  • Assist in co-ordinating technical works with the various delivery teams including but not limited to IT teams, power teams, fire teams, security service integrators, SOC and senior stakeholders.
  • Supervise and oversee documentation for the commissioning process and ensure final sign-off.
  • Manage and maintain the commissioning folders for each project, ensuring accuracy and completeness develop bespoke technical solutions for various clients when installations require a variance from the client’s standard basis of design.
  • Liaise with the clients’ technical teams to verify proposed solutions are acceptable and create required documentation for these solutions.
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary global team.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate weekly reports.
  • Lead communications within the group and actively participate in meetings.
  • Continually ensure that practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client’s and the Company’s best interests.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experienced and/or certified in Lenel and Milestone and/or another major security system.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Planner, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to identify and meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external parties.

NB: The successful candidate will be required to pass our security screening procedures and those required by our client(s) if necessary.
