Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 12+ years of experience in delivering large-scale Mortgage (Homes) transformation and change initiatives within the banking sector. The ideal candidate should possess strong stakeholder management skills, extensive experience in mortgage product lifecycles, and a proven track record of managing complex projects across business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of Mortgage (Homes) projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
Drive implementation of mortgage-related initiatives across loan origination, servicing, underwriting, and customer journey enhancements.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and blockers proactively.
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change management processes.
Coordinate cross-functional teams in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.

Required Skills

12+ years of Project Management experience within Banking and Financial Services.
Strong experience in Mortgage (Homes) domain.
Proven expertise in managing large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
Excellent stakeholder, vendor, and client management skills.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and governance.
Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with Banking Sector UK or other UK retail banking institutions.
Knowledge of UK mortgage regulations and lending processes.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
Experience with digital transformation and mortgage platform modernization initiatives.
