Project Manager

Experience

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in the fields of Finance, Operations or Project or Program Management
• Experience leading multi-functional teams in a fast paced, high energy environment
• Previous experience in managing profit centers
• Ability to solve problems quickly and take a “common sense” approach to challenges
• Experience dealing with all levels of Corporate structure
• Previous Program/Project management a definite plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Knowledge of technologies including the following, preferable but not required:

o WAN – Carrier based solutions involving T1s, DS-3 and OC-3 using MPLS
o Voice – Carrier based solutions involving PRIs and 1FBs
o Routing Protocols – EIGRP, BGP and OSPF
o Voice – Cisco IP Telephony and multi-vendor Voice over IP (VoIP)
o Security – Firewalls, IDS, IPS and VPN
o Optical – MPLS and TDM solutions (not required, but preferred, if possible)

• Education:

o Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering (required)
o MBA or equivalent Master’s certification (Highly Preferred)
o Project Management Certifications a plus

Responsibilities include

• Serve as primary contact with all Client and Partner leadership on engagement
• Identify opportunities to increase project profitability while maintaining high service delivery standards
• Lead the identification, scoping and closing of new project opportunities outside the base contract
• Serve as the primary lead for identifying and recruiting employees required to fill all project-related skill sets to ensure engagement success
• Build a team that is motivated to succeed and excited to work at World Wide Technology,

• Ensure our people are committed to and delivering on their annual training plans
