We’re looking for a Retail Development Manager to lead retail development, merchandising and store improvement projects across our estate.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering store layouts, planograms and merchandising to company standards
- Project managing new space, refresh and format development projects
- Managing suppliers and wholesale merchandising teams to deliver on time and on budget
- Driving sales growth, customer conversion and basket spend through effective retail execution
- Managing project costs and supporting margin improvement
- Working closely with Area Managers, Contract Managers, Retail Trading, Format, Development and FP&A teams
- Ensuring clear communication of retail activity, deadlines and project progress
What you’ll bring
- Retail and/or forecourt experience
- Strong project management skills
- Commercial awareness and good Excel/IT skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong organisation, numeracy and attention to detail
- A proactive, self-motivated and independent approach
Field-based | Travel throughout the UK & overnight stays required
