People are living longer and we’re excited by the opportunities this brings to help people live their best lives. We’re here for everyone who wants to make the most of their time on the planet and leave it a little better than they found it – however grand or humble their ambitions.

We help people live their best lives. We help them with the big stuff, for the moments that matter: Pensions, Savings, Investments. At Aegon, we strive in creating a diverse organisation that plays a meaningful role in driving greater equity, inclusion and belonging.

Are you a highly analytical professional with a passion for turning data into meaningful insights? We're looking for a Reward Analyst to join our People Reward team, supporting the delivery of reward programmes that help attract, retain and motivate our people.

Working closely with the Reward Manager and wider People team, you'll play a key role in delivering all aspects of reward, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, annual pay and bonus reviews, employee benefits, share schemes and remuneration reporting. You'll use your analytical expertise to provide robust insights, support business decision-making and help develop reward solutions that are both commercially effective and colleague focused.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with complex data, influencing stakeholders and contributing to projects that directly impact the employee experience. You'll collaborate with colleagues across People, Finance and the wider business, helping to ensure our reward practices remain competitive, compliant and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Support the delivery of annual reward activities, including salary reviews, bonus processes, share awards and benefits administration.
  • Produce insightful analysis, management information and modelling to support reward and business decision-making.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis, making recommendations based on external and internal data.
  • Complete job evaluations and support organisational design activities.
  • Compile and submit remuneration data for salary surveys, regulatory reporting, Gender Pay Gap reporting and other statutory reporting requirements, as well as responding to internal data requests.
  • Support reward and people related projects through analysis, forecasting and implementation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance controls and drive continuous improvement across reward activities.

We’d love to hear from you if you have

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, and experience working with large or complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and numerical capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience producing meaningful reporting, insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to different audiences.
  • Experience in a data, reporting or analytics-focused role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to build relationships across our People team and the wider business.
  • Experience within Reward or a CIPD/business qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

What’s in it for you?

  • We’re serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we’ll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we’ll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that’s 7% from you and 13% from us).
  • A discretionary bonus, depending on personal and company performance
  • 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro-rated for part-time)

We also offer private medical cover, life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave and a variety of lifestyle benefits to help our employees live their best lives, including retail discount vouchers, cycle2work scheme, subsidised restaurant and online GP appointments.
