Freshminds has partnered with a fast-growing trading firm to find a technically strong Risk Analyst Modeller to help protect and enhance trading performance. This is a high-impact, front-office role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems and applying quantitative thinking to real-world markets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building risk models and scenario analysis to support trading strategies
- Owning risk controls, reporting, and monitoring for the trading desk
- Translating complex outputs into clear, actionable insights
- Developing tools and visualisations to improve decision-making
- Working closely with Trading and Engineering to enhance systems
- Supporting trade execution and risk management when needed
Requirements:
- Strong quantitative background (e.g. maths, physics, engineering)
- Advanced Excel skills; Python (pandas/NumPy) or willingness to learn
- Solid grounding in statistics and analytical problem solving
