We were proud to be given a rating of 'outstanding' for the Emergency Department from the CQC, including the following comments "The staff we spoke with were proud to work for the A&E department and felt there was a 'can do' attitude within the team. There were processes in place to monitor the quality of the service and respond to areas highlighted as requiring improvement. We saw that learning was shared among the staff team regarding never events, incidents and complaints within the department and across the hospital.
