The Opportunity

Do you strive to make a profound difference in the insurance industry? Are you passionate about supporting innovation and change that drives business growth, trusted risk management, and customer-centricity?

At Quantexa, we do. This drive to challenge ourselves and the industry is what inspires us every day. Our culture is underpinned not only by our ability to build market-leading, AI-driven Decision Intelligence technology, but by our dedication to creating real, operational change across the insurance vertical. It is what has allowed us to support the industry across 4 continents and 20+ countries, and it is what will continue to make our future #UNSTOPPABLE.

As the Insurance Sales Director for the UK, you will join a collaborative, high-performing team within the Quantexa Sales division. This position is central to building out our core UK insurance nucleus. You will be a focal point in providing thought leadership, industry subject-matter expertise, and the entrepreneurial drive needed to acquire net-new logos, scale our pipeline, and enhance our go-to-market strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and Execute Strategy: Report directly to the Senior Director, Insurance EMEA Insurance Sector Lead , working alongside solution owners, Solution Engineers, and industry leads to define and execute a winning sales strategy for the UK Insurance sector.
  • Drive New Logo Acquisition: Act as a high-impact hunter focused predominantly on securing net-new "Lego" accounts (Tier 1 & Tier 2 insurers) across the UK general insurance, London market, and life insurance sectors.
  • Leverage the Partner Ecosystem: Partner closely with key cloud hyperscalers (e.g., Microsoft, Databricks) and global consulting firms to maximize joint pipeline-generation initiatives and warm lead activation.
  • Own the Enterprise Lifecycle: Manage long, complex, and high-value enterprise software sales cycles from initiation to close, consistently delivering against annual recurring revenue (ARR) targets.
  • Foster Internal Collaboration: Build trust and work cohesively with Solution Engineering, Field Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Solution Success teams to ensure our technology matches client expectations.
  • Maintain Process Hygiene: Take ownership of sales pipeline accuracy, reporting, and operational hygiene within our CRM and ATS (Ashby) environments.
  • Industry Representation: Act as a brand ambassador, networking and presenting at key UK Insurance and Insurtech industry events.

What You’ll Bring

Must Haves (Essential Experience)

  • Technology Sales Pedigree: Proven experience selling complex enterprise software, platform-as-a-service (PaaS), or SaaS solutions (rather than data or consulting services alone).
  • Insurance Sector Expertise: A track record of selling directly into P&C, Specialty (London Market), or Life Insurers.
  • Enterprise Deal Execution: Proven success managing, navigating, and closing multi-month, multi-stakeholder enterprise software cycles (£100k+ ARR / multi-year deals).
  • C-Suite Presence: The communication style and executive presence required to confidently "educate and solutionise" with, and sell directly to, C-suite and VP-level stakeholders within major insurance carriers.
  • Collaborative & Inclusive Mindset: The ability to operate as an independent decision-maker who is equally collaborative when evaluating technical options with Solution Engineering and Product teams.
  • Resilience & Ambition: An optimistic, high-energy outlook with the determination and perseverance to succeed in complex, challenging, and evolving environments.

Nice To Haves (Preferred, But Not Required)

  • Domain Alignment: Experience selling technology solutions focused on Fraud (our primary right-to-win use case), Data Management, or Customer Intelligence.
  • Hyperscaler Familiarity: Direct experience co-selling or partnering with cloud hyperscalers (specifically Microsoft and Databricks).
  • Tier 1 General Insurance Contacts: Pre-existing relationships and established credibility with major tier-1 insurers
