The Role

As an SAP S/4HANA P2P Lead Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering procurement and inventory solutions within a SAP Brownfield implementation and enhancement programme. You will lead the design and configuration of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, ensuring alignment with clean core principles, minimising customisation, and supporting a scalable, cloud-enabled SAP S/4HANA environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to enable business transformation, operational efficiency, and long-term platform sustainability.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM and P2P implementations, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Configure core SAP processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Invoice Verification.
• Conduct fit-to-standard workshops and drive solution design aligned with SAP best practices.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts.
• Support data migration, system integration, and cutover activities.
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as SD and FI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver optimal solutions.
• Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, and post-go-live validation.
• Provide training, knowledge transfer, and hypercare support to business users.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with governance and compliance standards.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong experience leading SAP MM and P2P implementations within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven expertise in procurement, inventory management, and vendor processes.
• Experience conducting fit-gap or fit-to-standard workshops and solution design.
• Strong knowledge of SAP integration across modules such as SD and FI.
• Experience supporting full implementation lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Strong documentation skills, including functional specifications and process flows.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and IT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in large-scale SAP transformation programmes.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience in retail or supply chain environments, including replenishment, allocation, and cross-docking processes.
• Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, shipment and delivery configuration, and WMS integration.
• Familiarity with SAP CAR, POS integration, and retail pricing solutions.
• Experience with IDOCs and system integration scenarios.
• Exposure to use case design, business process modelling, and testing frameworks.
• SAP S/4HANA certification in relevant modules is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
