About The Role
- Lead and manage the secretarial team to enable high performance (one direct report)
- Allocate, delegate, and balance workloads in line with capability and capacity
- Ensure appropriate cover, including holiday planning
- Act as first point of contact for office and administrative matters
- Attend and coordinate operational and service line meetings
- Ensure efficient administrative processes and drive continuous improvement
- Lead, manage, and support the administration team to ensure the efficient day‑to‑day running of the office/service line
- Allocate and prioritise workloads, taking into account team members’ skills, experience, and capacity
- Monitor service delivery to ensure administrative support meets the needs of internal and external clients
- Liaise with partners, managers, and technical teams to support workflow planning and deadlines
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency
- Support recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of administration staff
- Maintaining and supporting facilities supervisor regarding landlords and tenants of buildings
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills
- Ability to assess team capability and allocate work appropriately
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
